The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean and well maintained. Throughout our stay, the staff were kind and friendly. I’m very grateful for the service of the staff at Wingate by Wyndham at Cedar City. He had resolved everything within an hour, and fixed it so we paid the price originally agreed on. He also was kind enough to help me get into my room and show me (when again I couldn’t open the door) how to do it. When I went back to the front desk to get help, the ladies there had contacted someone who knew how to fix the problem with our booking and he was working on it. But when I got to my room, I couldn’t open the door. We decided to just go to bed in our rooms and try to sort everything out in the morning. We tried to contact Expedia, but couldn’t get a response. I had the email with the price for the booking clearly shown, but no go. At first, the front desk ladies said there was nothing they could do, that after 4 pm the computer wouldn’t let them change a booking or give a refund, and that the problem was with Expedia and that we needed to contact them. When we arrived at about 11 pm, it was to find that Expedia had messed up the booking and we were charged half again as much on the agreed price. "We had booked this hotel through Expedia months ago.
